 Dew will build a portfolio of individual biotech stock based on our proprietary investment process which combines our own research as well as systematic analysis of investments done by the leading managers in the sector  Dew’s strength is in the rigorous identification of talented managers and analyzing their stock selection process  This understanding allows Dew to distinguish their favorite positions from their largest positions.  Managers are selected not only based on their track record, but by their trading history and behavior  A qualitative understanding of their investment process is critical in order to extract their best ideas.  Investment process focuses on parsing luck from skill.  It learns how to identify the ideas that are important and if they are candidates to include in a portfolio of “best ideas”.  Unlike Fund of Funds, it removes a layer of fees, enhances liquidity, and has a consistent alpha above the benchmarks and many of its underlying managers.  Biotech stands out from other sectors, where high quality stock-pickers have been consistent in adding value.
